The day the world turned to chocolate

One peaceful evening a young girl decided to try and make up her own recipe for chocolate. She put cocoa and sugar into a bowl, then added some baking soda. But she thought it was too dry so she added a1/4 cup of white vinegar. She left it to set whilst she went and played outside. The baking soda and vinegar combined together and that's when it happened. The mixture fizzled over the edge of the bowl and down the counter top. It expanded in size and rolled down the stairs to the door claiming the house, then the street, and the suburb.

Before the girl knew it she was in the real life ‘Charlie and the chocolate factory!’ The world turned into chocolate. The streams turned into melted chocolate, the houses were made out of chocolate bars and makeup was cocoa. By then it was dark but that didn't stop the chocolate puddle! The little girl went to bed with a big grin on her face.

But the next day things turned bad. When the sun came out it melted all of the chocolate. By 11 o'clock the town was all melted and it began to flood. People evacuated but not because of the melting buildings, because they wanted to eat it and take selfies in a chocolate flood. By lunch everything was melted. People evacuated and climbed to safety but there was no point. Buildings were melting but people were trying to get planes’ attention by waving on top of buildings.

A few hours later some helicopters flew in grabbing survivors from high buildings and lifting them to safety. They brought in some helicopters with buckets attached to attempt to lower down the flood.

A few days later it was all people could talk about. It was on newspapers, on billboards, and on the news but people were just happy that it was over.
